A Variety of Housings to Meet Your Industry’s Needs

If your industry requires zero fluid loss or the recovery of particulates, bag filters are the undisputed solution and the housings that hold them are a critical component to keeping production moving safely and efficiently. The Filter Sciences stainless steel industrial liquid bag filter housings can accommodate a wide range of flows and bags that can filter particulates as small as 1 micron. All of these features are coupled with no backwash or loss of the fluid — our stainless steel liquid bag filter housings are the ”Zero Discharge Solution.”

Industrial bag filter housings (AKA: Filter Pots, Filter Pods, Bag Filter Vessels) are used in many industries as well to filter a variety of particulate, from dirt and debris to sediment and other small particles. Our stainless steel industrial bag housing ensures there is no corrosion and that they last longer than traditional carbon steel housings.

We Focus On One Thing, And One Thing Only, BAG FILTER HOUSINGS

HOW OUR MICRON RATED LIQUID BAG FILTERS & INDUSTRIAL BAG FILTER HOUSINGs WORK

While on the outside, the shell looks like an ordinary steel vessel, inside is where the filtration happens. A perforated SST basket sits inside our liquid bag or industrial bag housing. This then provides support for the filter media (fancy word for the bag) to sit. The liquid that you need filtered enters the liquid bag filter housing above the filter bag and then fills up the interior portion of the housing.

As the liquid flows through the industrial or liquid bag filter housing, all the particles above the micron rating of the bag are caught, allowing the pure liquid to move out of the filtration system. Particulate is removed when the bag is pulled, thus no liquid is lost in the process. With Filter Sciences' liquid bag filter housing, you can rest assured you will have no leaks, as our top-rated liquid bag filter housing creates an impenetrable seal between all access points, such as the lid, basket, or housing. Whether you are using a single bag housing or a multi-bag housing, the filtration system is the same.

FSI Single Bag Housings

If you are looking for the perfect liquid bag filter housing for your small-scale operations, single bag housings are perfect. These industrial bag housings use only one filter bag to remove whatever you are filtering, from dirt to debris. You can choose from which filter bags will fit your needs the best for industrial or water bag filter housing systems. Single bag housings are more affordable since you are only using one bag for your industrial bag housing needs. However, you'll get less work done than with a multi-bag housing system.

Single liquid bag filter housings that are adaptable to meet all your flow requirements!

Our single filter bag housings handle flows up to 200 GPM flow per unit, making it the leading choice in single filter bag housings. Improve your productivity with less downtime! Bags can be replaced and disposed of or reused.

The Value Leader:

  • Stainless Steel
  • Sure Seal
  • Reduce Labor
  • Zero Waste

We’ve got a few options for you to choose from:

  • 304 Stainless
  • 316 Stainless
  • Up to 300 PSI HP

FSI Multi-Bag Housings

As you've probably guessed by now, multi-bag housings have multiple bags. These water bag filter housings were designed to handle high liquid flows and are great for larger-scale operations. If you need your liquid filtered quickly through your water bag filter housing, choose multi-bag housings. Depending on your system, you can have up to 50 bags filtering at once in your industrial bag filter housing. That's a lot of work done in a short amount of time. There is often no downtime with a multi-bag housing system because you don't have to stop your operations to change the bags in your industrial bag housing. You can change one at a time quite easily.

By investing in Filter Sciences' stainless steel liquid bag filter housings, you'll be preventing corrosion and extending the life of your industrial or water bag filter housing.

Big flow requirements? No problem! Our industrial multi-bag housing units are capable of handling flows of up to 2,400 GPM with between one and 12 cells. Not big enough? Our engineers can customize your multi-bag housing units to meet just about any flow requirement, simply contact us for a custom quote.
