Here at Filter Sciences, we’ve manufactured our filter housings to be as durable and adaptable as your filtration system needs. Filter bag housings are an important part of any filtration system. They provide secure and efficient containment for filter bags, allowing for the uninterrupted flow of fluid or air through the filter media. They are typically used for the removal of dust, debris, and other particles from air, water, and other liquids.
Single Bag Housing
Single-bag filter housings can hold a single filter bag and are designed for use in any scenario. They’re smaller than multi-bag housings and can be hooked up to a system more easily without having to worry about space. In tandem with other single-bag filters, they can handle greater flow than multi-bag filter housing could, but with a greater level of flexibility when it comes to system expansion.
Multi-Bag Housing
Multi-bag filter housings are perfect for larger systems that need a large volume of liquid to be filtered. Our standard stainless steel multi-bag filtration units can handle flow rates of up to 2,400 GPM. Our filter housings are specially designed for all flows between two and twelve cells, in which filters can be removed, replaced, or reused. If none of our existing filters quite match your needs, Filter Sciences has the expertise and design skill to work with you and create the perfect filter housing.
Stainless Steel vs Carbon Steel
All of our filter housings are made out of stainless steel, the superior option to often cheaper and more-commonly-used carbon steel. Carbon steel will corrode more quickly with sustained use, which can damage water quality — undoing the very reason that you’re using a filter in the first place. Filter Sciences provide stainless steel filter casings at an affordable carbon steel price.
No matter which type of filter bag housing you choose, it’s important to ensure that it is designed to meet the specific requirements of your filtration system. Let Filter Sciences work with you to get exactly the filter casing you need.
